A month short of 4 years and 55 events later Qc earned the enviable reputation of continuously offering outstanding well supported gay parties in the best venues around South Africa. On 26 April 2010 Qc2 will host the closing down party marking the end of the road and giving us a reason to party harder.
 

It all started on 2 June 2006 when Queer City hosted the first of its unique entertainment experiences that titillated the senses and left the crowds gasping for more. Qc was the first to target upmarket venues around Joburg’s northern suburbs as platforms to present the best brands and entertainment for the well-heeled gay late-night revelers. Until then it was unthinkable that the top clubs will open their doors to gay events.

Come join some of the best DJ’s featured over the years in saying goodbye to one of the best gay entertainment concepts ever in SA. You will also witness the first “one on one” DJ battle between the two Qc residents Stuart Hillary and Morne – Groove Element. It will be a duel of the decks entertainment session toasting the past and wishing everybody “good luck for the future” and promises to make this one of the best closing down parties ever.
